LawStrings Pickleball Premier League – Lawyer's Edition

The league was made to bring together legal professionals through sport, fitness, competition, and professional interaction.

LawStrings Management called LPPL a platform to help lawyers stay healthy, build friendships, and have a spirit of competition.

A New Sporting Platform for the Legal Fraternity

This initiative gave lawyers a chance to take part in a structured sporting event outside of courtrooms and meetings.

The tournament was backed by Senior Advocate Sacchin Puri.It combined professional networking with fun and competition.

Eight Franchise Teams Participated

The first season had eight teams linked to legal professionals.

These included Amicus Aces, Pickle Pleaders, Smash Squad, Sood's Smashers, Net-workers, Supreme Strikers, Legal Pickle, and Lex Saviours. There were different playing categories to make sure everyone could take part.

Smash Squad Wins the Inaugural Gold Cup

Legal Pickle got the Silver Cup, and Net-workers won the Bronze Cup.This marked the end of the first season of the lawyer-focused pickleball league.

South Delhi as the Launch Venue

It was a special place for lawyers to compete in the two-day event. This also showed South Delhi's part in hosting a new sport event for the legal community.

Law and Sport Come Together

The LPPL gave legal professionals a new way to interact by mixing sports, networking, and community events.

This allowed lawyers to meet colleagues in a relaxed setting while playing in a formal league.

Season 2 Expands the Concept

After the first season's success, LawStrings launched LPPL Season 2 in 2026.

The second season introduced India's first-ever pickleball player auction for lawyers. It used a virtual-points system for selection. The auction happened on 3 May 2026, followed by league games on 9 and 10 May 2026.

Continued Participation from the Legal Community

Season 2 grew the league's structure and brought in more people from the legal field.

This included practicing advocates, lawyers from firms, in-house counsel, and others. This shows the organizers' effort to make pickleball a regular way for lawyers to connect.

A Distinctive Initiative for Lawyers

The first LPPL season showed how sports can be used for professional interaction outside of normal legal work.

By mixing competition, fitness, and networking, the league created a new way for lawyers in Delhi and across India to connect.

Conclusion

The start of India's first pickleball league for lawyers in South Delhi was a fresh and creative development in the legal community.

The 2025 tournament set up LPPL as a special sports event for lawyers, and the 2026 season expanded the idea with an auction and league system.
