India's first pickleball league specifically for lawyers started in South Delhi.It was called the LawStrings Pickleball Premier League, Lawyer's Edition.The first event happened on May 24 and 25, 2025, at REPPP, Farm No.1, Mehrauli, in South Delhi.LawStrings called it the first-ever league for lawyers, meant to help them stay healthy, build friendships, compete, and take care of their well-being.
This league was organized by LawStrings Management and supported by Senior Advocate Sacchin Puri.

Smash Squad, which was owned by Senior Advocate Sonia Mathur, won the Gold Cup and did not lose a single match.
Legal Pickle got the Silver Cup and Net-workers earned the Bronze Cup.The winning team included Nachiketa Vajpayee, Sparsh Duggal, Rishabh Rela, Pallavi Kumar, Sanjivani Pattjoshi, and Angad Baxi.
The first tournament was held in Mehrauli, South Delhi, giving the league a proper sports venue to start.

Eight franchise owners took part in the auction-based team selection.Instead of real money, players were picked using a virtual-points system.
The second season had eight teams: Chandhiok Aces, Hariharan Hurricanes, Pickle Pleaders, Legal Picklers, Pahwa Panthers, Amit Chadha Lions, Legal Legends, and MO-HITTERS.
At the end of the tournament, Pahwa Panthers won the Gold Cup, MO-HITTERS got the Silver, and Amit Chadha Lions took the Bronze.The matches were played at SpeedUp Club, Khan Market, New Delhi.
